The AF site shows two cabin/seating layouts for the 772, one version with 247 seats, the other with 307.
How do I find out which one I'm on?
    AF 23 JFK-CDG 24 Sept. 2011

In my reservation on the AF site, it just says "Aircraft : Boeing 777-200", and when I go to the "select or modify seating" page, it doesn't give a seat map, just a place where I could enter a different seat number.

Try selecting a seat that only exists (or you are only entitled to) on one version. If you can pick it, that's your plane.

My supplier wasn't ready, so I had to push it back a week. I now have one TATL segment on DL, one on an AF 343. For that one, all DL could see was one window seat and two middle seats (I like aisle long haul, I like to get up, walk around, stretch my legs). I got the AF PNR from DL, called AF, and they gave me the choice of anything I wanted; it is pretty wide open (yet DL only sees 3 seats in back). I took 19D, which seatguru says has extra legroom (aisle on a four across mid section with only 3 seats in front of it; the TV screen is off center, but I rarely watch anyway).

Typical DL/AF poor system integration, DL doesn't have good access to AF seating charts.
