When will Hawaii Service Begin?

    Since we're guessing...I'll go with until Southwest acquires Boeing 737-800ERs. These have the range for sure and they only have 2 738s at this time of post so that's inadequate.

    HMMM, so the 800s they have just acquired don't have that range? Sketchy information on the ER, even the Boeing 737 main page does not even list the variant.

    They only have 2 as of now and the 800s they have do have the range to fly West Coast to Hawaii.

    I'm guessing they will need at least half a dozen dedicated to Hawaii service to make the economics work.
