When things get delayed with Frontier, do they just go silent?

About a year ago I had a LGA->DEN flight delayed over 16 hours.

This was after the plane boarded. The reps bailed and a new employee had to deal with a full flight of angry passengers. I ended up going out of security and hopping on an AA flight.

It seems that Frontier is an AMAZING airline when things go right, and when they go wrong, they really go wrong. Just me?

I don't think it's just Frontier. I feel most airlines need to do a better job during delays.
What compensation was offered, if any?

Nothing. They did put me on another flight after 6 hours of the delay, but not everyone was smart enough to bail on the gate.

I love Frontier but when I see friends with delays I always want to yell "RUN!" :)
