When does GP elite status expiration date update online?

    I reached the required number of stays for Diamond this year but my current diamond expiration date on the website is still spring 2014. I can't remember if the Hyatt website switched to new expiration as soon as last qualifying stay or night posts last year or not until end of calendar or program year? Anyone else recall?

    It will update in February as far as I remember.

    I believe it will not update until next year ... it used to update automatically upon re-qual but a year or two ago I noticed that it did not and was told that it did not update until after the new year.

    Thanks for your great question about Gold Passport expiration status. Your expiration date does update until 72 hours after your last qualifying stay is posted to your account.

    Hi - thank you for reaching out. I had my 25th elligible stay for re-qualification on Dec 11th, but my expiration has not updated yet. The online account detail shows "25 eligible stays", but still the same expiration of Feb 28, 2014. Should I be worried about that it has been much more then 72 hrs?

    I will say that GP CS had to correct several stays manually due to posting errors so maybe that affected the automated processing of elite status?

    Again, appreciate the service - another reason why Hyatt is my favorite hotel group hands down.
