Is this possible?
That said, they disabled the easy way to keep the look of the site clean and consistent so we probably shouldn't overuse this!
just saw it. to tiered and stupid. thanks
Time for an afternoon coffee!
maybe only intravenous
Much more efficient, for sure -- leaves more time for posting on MiPo!
I prefer MP instead of MiPo
Either one can work ... but UA and AS both use MP for their FF program, so there is some chance of confusion on this side of the pond.
but is the content not clearing the dust of confusion?
Yes, in my personal view, neither Mileage Plus or Military Police should be confused with MilePoint -- 99% of the time it'll be clear from the context. But maybe the UA FFs think differently, don't know.
Time will come and show us the result
A disadvantage to MiPo is it's harder to type. Even MPt is harder than MP. However, with a relatively unique nickname, like FB or even FT, it can be used in discussions on other forums and locales. People will Twit about FB, and post on FB about Twits, but if they Twit or FB about MP a lot of people will be confused. If they Twit about MiPo, folks will reply, "What's MiPo", and they'll reply with an invite spreading our reach.
great marketing idea
