    Hyatt runs some special promotions by region from time-to-time. One of the special promos offered right now is for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India. The sale is a 20% off the Daily Rate amount at hotels on their designated hotels. One of the hotels on the list is one of our favorite Hyatt hotels – the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki. Since we were going to do an award stay there coming up at some point, I decided to see what the cash price would be with this discount. After punching in our dates, it showed me the promo rate of the “special offer” and it clearly wasn’t anything special at all! The seasonal promotion price was actually a couple of times higher than the daily rate (which it is supposed to be 20% off from). At first I thought it was giving the rate for the entire stay, but it was truly the “special offer” daily rate. I checked this amongst many dates and a few hotels and found that this...
