Besides MilePoint, what are you top 5 travel blogs, forums, etc. for getting the best travel related deals? For me it's The Frugal Travel Guy - View from the Wing - The Points Guy - Loyalty Traveler - and Unroadwarrior.

Can you post links for the above? This way people wont have to search.

I have the points guy in my Google blog reader. I read/post here on MP and read FT.

Flyertalk's MR forum is useful for deals sometimes, so is Slickdeals.net and Dealnews (both to a far lesser extent).

The above plus One Mile at a Time and Slickdeals. I just started this recently and these are my favorites.

Boardingarea.com is a good one because it does list a bunch of blogs all at one time. I have boardingarea on my Google reader. Another gathering spot for several blogs is: upgrd.com which has several blogs on it.

Slickdeals.net - Dan's Deals - and Deals We Like are all great sites but I don't have them in my daily reader because I don't like to open it up and have 200 posts to scan. The Deals sites send out a lot of posts each day. If you don't mind receiving a lot of posts, then you might want to check them out.

I recently started reading Million Mile Secrets (fairly new blog) and it seems to have a lot of promise.

I agree - he seems very thorough and like all the others, wonderfully dedicated. I spend too much time on MP and FT but most of the "deals" to be found are on The Points Guy, Gary's View from the Wing and Lucky's One Mile at a Time. Those last three take a total of 5 minutes a day unless there is something I read that I need to act on.

The there's me! No, not on line. It's for my friends who are too lazy to do any of this and want me to quickly tell them what to do, what card to get and use, where to fly and how to do it. But truly, I still enjoy it as much as I enjoy the Sunday NY Times crossword puzzle - just another challenge to solve.

Right on Steven! Like you, several of my friends depend on me to keep them updated on the deals. Back in the early days I would click on each website every morning. Now I just open up my blog reader and all the new articles are there for me to see. It's easier now! Happy travels!
