Mine's easy. The whole "new F" experience on LH - onboard, the lounges (all of them) and the Porsche or Benz drive to the plane. I've been reading so many great LH trip reports that I am salivating like Pavlovs dog by the end of them. Go look up anything written by jacob_m

And a long haul sector in F on CX.

And I'd like to do it for as little as possible (ie cashing in miles, creative trades, willing to sell body parts and will also consider bartering my 7 year old. She's housebroken, relatively well behaved and eats like a sparrow). I'll even throw in the cat.

Good question. Here are some of mine:
    • Star Mega DO III for the whole deal rather than just the charter
    • Spending a week totally unplugged on a South Pacific beach next fall
    • Getting a KLM MD-11 so I can be sure I have the type before they're gone some day
    • Avoiding MCI for business travel in winter (already failed, badly)
    • Avoiding South Texas for business travel in summer (sure to fail, badly)
    • Minimizing the number of nights spent stranded at a hub due to IRROPS (only one so far this year which is much better than last winter)

Star Mega Do (hope rather than realistic)
See more places I haven't been (been to a couple already and several more booked)
DHS abolished, along with stupid liquids rules and nude-o-scopes (fat chance)

    OK, wish list only:

    1) Company changes travel policy to allow J class on flights > 6 hours.
    2) RTW F class adventure for diver90 family late in the year.

I'll be quite content with those 2 things. (Content? I'll be ecstatic!)

Hmm after winning the lottery would like to do the following:

    1. Honolulu for 3 months or so. We own a condo there, and are actually hoping that DH can get some kind of sabbatical so we can go and goof of there for an extended period.
    2. Buenos Aires - This has been on our list forever. We have the points with American to go First Class, it's getting the time.

Winning the lottery would give us the time as we have the points to do enough trips for the next 3 years.

YES! They moved the bugger off MIA-AMS. I finally found it flying YUL-AMS. Now to find time and decent tickets.

[Edit] and it's back to MIA-AMS. It's like a ghost plane.

I'd like to accomplish 100,000 actual miles flown like I did in 2009 while in Australia (few trips to Europe helped)

So far I've booked up to 30,000 and it doesn't look like that number will increase much... but again, hoping for a miracle.

Already been to Italy this year, and have Argentina and Brazil (including Iguazu) booked. Heading to Korea in April, Australia in May (for Ozfest), and have systemwides left for 2 more international trips - maybe Eastern Europe or India or back to Thailand for the food.

A DO originates from FT, it's a large gathering of travelers/Mile pointers/Flyertalkers for a big to-"Do". IIRC it comes from the first gathering started by Catman, the "Catman-Do" and things took off from there.

That was a cute pun on Do, used as a British and Canadian noun for a social gathering. [IMG]

In addition to SVK and FCO trips already booked, an MR over thksgiving to TYO would be a welcomed addition.
