I'm thinking about booking a domestic flight with an ExecutiveFirst configuration. What sort of service should I expect on the YHZ-YYZ flight?

  2. I would not pay the J price for a domestic flight of that length unless there were extenuating circumstances. Its just a wider seat with more leg room than in Y and you get a free meal all for about 3 times the price of an economy tkt.

Unsure if you mean a regular domestic J flight or J on an internationally configured 763 with the pod seating? In any case, other than the slightly larger seat 2x2 or 1x2 (or privacy of a pod) depending upon the narrow body aircraft flown, you'll get free bud headset, newspapers, free booze, and some form of either snack (cheese plate, cold cuts) or modified full breakfast/lunch/dinner at meal times. Also MLL access before the flight and possible access to priority security line, boarding, etc. Pretty standard domestic J (or US airline F standards).

This is a widebody 763 doing a domestic route.

Yup - it's part of the LHR-YHZ-YYZ run.

I've done it 20 or 30 times in the last couple of years. Not sure about all days of the week, but if its a Friday the MLL will be packed. The flight will be standard 1-2 pod configuration. Flight service will be just like any other domestic J service. Same menus, same booze. There is no access to a priority security line in YHZ unless you have Nexus. That said, if you arrive 1.5 hours before the flight, security will be vacant.
