|| What should I do about this $50 phone bill? ||
When is free really free?
Seems like they were saying that calling internationally was not blocked... for free.
When I received my Wyndham ByRequest packet, one of the perks listed was free long distance calls. Period. I made a brief call once and wasn't charged. ByRequest is now rolled into Wyndham Rewards, I believe.
"Long distance access" to me means they will provide a line out to call a toll free number for a calling card. When calling cards were popular, some hotels tried to tack on access fees to try to recover the lost revenue from guests.
Are all of Elliott's answers written by a piece of software that just inserts some facts from the original letter? That stuff is so predictable.
I can't believe people still use the phones at the hotel. Personally, I only use the hotel phones when I need to make calls to the Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, etc. Just use your cellphone or something like Skype when you want to call long distance of international.. *sigh*
that is total BS. If it says free it should be free.
