What Is Up With CO1683? (ORD-DEN)

    Last two days it has been delayed due to inbound crew. Flight aware shows many more delayed days. Curious if the crew issue is just a fluke or someone messed up scheduling.

    You have to remember ORD is not a CO base so they depend on through crews... if a FLL-ORD is delayed, ORD-DEN will be impacted if it's the same equipment...CO does not pair their Pilots and FAs together...they can exchange the flight deck and the cabin crews easily... There's a lot of factors and without inside information I can't say exactly why but I can guess as to why.

    Good point. The inbound plane has always been on time (and usually from NYC or CLE) but the crew is delayed out of IAH.
