|| What if the price drops after buying my airline ticket? ||
If the price drop exceeds the change fee, you can usually cancel the ticket and purchase a new one at the lower price. Otherwise, sorry, but your purchase price stands with few exceptions.
This happens all of the time with tickets. The price fluctuates and these can be drastic changes too.
You can either choose to get a refundable ticket in the future (more expensive), or as MSPeconomist said, if the cancel/change fee is less than the difference, cancel/change the ticket and get the new cheaper one.
Give me something (other than a Virgin plane) to entice me to read the article, please.
