I won't ask what the "best" Hyatt is, and there is generalized consensus about the answer, with the usual suspects - PH Vendome, PH Tokyo, PH Sydney, etc., typically being mentioned. I ask, what Hyatt is a sleeper, so to say, providing more than one might anticipate. For me, it is certainly the Boston Harborside Hyatt at Logan - one might expect it to be a run of the mill airport hotel. It is typically my first night stay whenever I go to Boston. It is clean, rooms are pleasant, and the diamond breakfast buffet is excellent. Also, it is one of the only places I go for the diamond amenity. The local cheese and fruit platter is very good, with generous helpings. In the summer, taking breakfast outside, looking across the harbor to the Boston skyline is a wonderful experience, and the water taxi stop is 100 yards from the back entrance to the hotel. Even though I have stayed perhaps 10 times, it continues to exceed expectations.
