It sounds a little intimidating.
you got mixed up with stalking.
Follow works much the same way as following someone on Twitter does.
OK, so what does "follow" mean on Twitter?
I don't twit, so I'm wondering the same thing.
I only went to Twitter once. I believe it was when Randy was doing some sort of superhuman bike race in the Rockies.
Maybe we get notified of that person's new posts? But how and where?
And if that's the case, will have to be careful not to follow the very prolific posters!

Essentially, if someone follows you, they are subscribing to your updates. They'll appear in a list for them, much like anyone you follow will appear in a list for you in your People You Follow section. It's really not intrusive and the information displayed is stuff you've already publicly posted, so no worries.
