I read, play Angry Birds, use GoGo for email updates and surfing the net and sometimes purchase a magazine to skim. What do you do?

Read something I've saved specifically for travel on my Kindle (James Patterson is always good whilst traveling, as is Clive Cussler, for example), listen to music either on my BB or inflight, watch movies (I try not to watch first run until they come out on cable so I have movies I want to see on long TA or TP flights). Work if on PS with GoGo. SLEEP (I'm one of those annoying people who can often be asleep before wheels up and not really wake up until we're pulling into the gate).

Depends on my mood. I love my iPad when traveling.

    Watch a movie/TV show
    Read a book
Listen to a book or podcast
    Play Civilization
    Sleep

dependent on seat (ie, bulkhead, exit row, or FC) I will work on my laptop. (absolutely cannot work in regular coach seats) Listen to music on my iPod and read a leisure book on my Kindle, and on climb up or down from 10k' I do a crossword puzzle.

I listen to my iPod, and either try to sleep, read, or do work. Last flight home on a transcon, I cleared out my email box and organized my entire computer into folders. It's great to be on a plane where nobody can bother me by phone or internet. I find that it is the most productive time I have. Sometimes I'm tempted to do a MR just so I can have someplace to get my work done!

I read, do puzzles (crosswords or kakuro mostly), or do needlework (mostly crocheting, nalbinding, or needlepoint). For those who question the latter, dental floss containers make excellent thread cutters. I also watch movies, but usually fall asleep in the middle of them.

Yeah. I still prefer IV-BTS. But only V is installed on the laptop right now. Maybe i'll do that on my next flight.

Luckily I have an igo for my laptop so I've been known to play WoW from the plane with GoGo. No longer play that though.

Mostly I sleep or watch movies or tv. No cable at home so traveling is a chance to see some things I miss.

Once in a while I do actually work.

And of course I do all 3 sudoku in the AA Mag.

Depends on the length of the flight and the purpose...
Traveling for work - study for the CPA (2 down, 2 to go!), finish up some work or sleep
Vacation - read a book I really like Emily Giffin right now
Long-Haul - Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, watch a movie or 2, sleep (I'm really good at sleeping on LH) ;)

I do more of the same, I guess... listen to music or a podcast, read, watch a movie, play games -- all on my iPad. And, if I have had an early morning (which is quite often the case), I try to sleep and just pray that I don't snore!! :D

I'm in the same boat as many in terms of fooling around on my iPhone, listening to music, reading, etc.

I also enjoy watching the world go by out my window and using my camera or iPhone to snap photos. I start in the terminal, continue during boarding, and start again after take off. I enjoy documenting my flights for some reason. I've been using the iPhone Instagram app to filter the photos lately....

    In no particular order:
    1. Peruse a collection of TV shows and movies I've loaded onto my laptop and memory stick.
    2. Write a few chapters of a TR
    3. Catch up on some reading (generally whitepapers and technical rot)
    4. Chat with friends if they're on the flight
    5. Chat up female FA's, specially if they are stunning and single.
    6. Mess around with the IFE&C systems.
    7. Read the in-flight magazine
    8. Perusing unread magazines in my carry-on (which are generally aviation publications)
    9. Draw stick figures on sick bags, or marvel at other peoples sick bag artworks (Exhibits A and B)
    10. Fire up the flight path map in case I might catch a photo of an interesting view or landmark from the air
and some of the more annoying ones for others:
    1. Spend 15min finding the perfect seat position, and another 5 getting back to it after trying something else that's nowhere near as good.
    2. Scratch myself, because we all know you like looking at someone feeling themselves up on board.
    3. Keep flight attendants on their toes with a drink order no less than every 2hrs, and giggle on the inside as they shuttle between galleys to find your drink of choice (Bundaberg Ginger Beer)

Read, Crossword, and sometimes work on laptop which is my least favorite thing to do. Not becuase of the work itself, but I just hate taking the laptop out, finding space, etc. I would rather read my industry magazines.

Read, read, read, read, read--my favorite thing to do anytime, anywhere. Sometimes I will work a puzzle or in international biz or first, watch a movie, but reading is the best--oh yeah, also sleeping. :)
