Overall TA can be indeed helpful, but it's important to read "between" the lines from time to time and look out for "one time reviewers" or posters with very short reviews without and significant info or details, these should be avoided. It's also useful IMHO to visit the posters profile on TA which also incl. their complete list of reviews to get a feel of the poster. Plus, the photos on TA are very useful too in many cases IMHO. Summary, TA can be useful indeed.
Cheers & Safe Travels.
"Opinions are like Aholes". Everybody has one.
For the most part due to the Age of Snark , Buzzfeed, Paris "Extra"ordinary, I don't value them and depending on how glowing the reviews are often view them as even more suspect.
Often I've experienced results directly opposite what was quoted in a glowing review. Some places just aren't great destinations. Nothing Personal. IBTK YBTFIWA
