Back in February I got my first Citi card - the aa executive card. I'd like to get another aa card (not business). I know I could apply for another executive but I'd rather not manufacture spend the 10K spend and get another aa card with a lower spend amount. Can I sign up for the aa platinum or aa gold or do I need to wait a year or so?

I have looked for the answers on this board and flyertalk and felt like I couldn't find one that was clear enough to me, and I appreciate any help that can be provided here.

    Yes
No - if your last Citi app was in February, you're good.

NP. If you just Google "How often can I churn AA cards?" you'll get plenty of entertaining reading.

Wait at least 8 days for the 2nd card. 60 days for the 3rd.

Just to piggy back here, I've heard several anectotal reports of folks getting a second AA Exec and the sign up bonus. How's that work?

see the other thread but I'm nearly finished with my third and the wife is working on her 2nd. Reports of people doing more. Just wait 65 days from #1 for #3.
