I know threads like this lend towards bragging, but hey, sometimes it's fun to share what one is doing and see what others are doing. So let's share some of our cool travel plans for the year ahead!

    For me:
Continuing my plan to see America by visiting every state capital/capitol
Tallahassee & Panama City Beach (BWI-ECP-ATL-BWI)
    Indianapolis (BWI-ORD-IND-CLT-BWI)
    Omaha & Lincoln (DCA-OMA-ORD-DCA)
    Charleston (DCA-CRW-DCA)

    International Trips
    Panama (DCA-EWR-PTY-JFK/LGA-DCA [PAC-DAV-PAC]
    Bermuda (BWI-CLT-BDA-BWI)
    Operation Francophone - Montreal/Paris/Brussels/Nice/Monaco/Mauritius/Reunion (IAD-ORD-YUL-CDG/BRU-NCE-CDG-MRU-RUN-MRU-CDG-IAD)

    Hawaii
Kauai (SEA-LIH-SJC-SEA). Haven't figured out positioning flights yet

I'm really excited -- it's going to be a terrific year. Thanks to all of you in this community who share your knowledge with people like me. I'm a public school teacher who could never afford this without people who point out helpful tips and great fares and how to maximize credit card signups. Thanks to all of you.

Now, with that said, where are y'all going?

After a big year of travel in 2012, 2013 might be a bit calmer for me. I have a big move coming in the summer.

So far i have flights booked to MCO, 2 X AUS and PDX. My work travel is never planned more than a few weeks in advance so I don't know what's coming for business travel.

But, for my move, I'll be shipping my belongings across country while taking a couple of weeks off and driving myself. I plan to see almost every state in the US that I haven't already seen. I believe I've been to 36 or 37 and plan to be at 47 when I arrive at my new home. Plus stop in a lot of cool places on the way.

Desamo -- are you taking a Black Sea Cruise? Definitely on my list! Azmara?

I've been preoccupied with visiting all of the Lusophone countries/former colonies, but ever so slightly.
Two issues come to mind: I don't have any pull with the Angolan government. B) I'll write a letter to TP asking if they could restart LIS-MFM flights (I've been to both locations, but that's just a rad {now *A} route)...

Bonus points if you visit each of the fifty state capital airports. Even more bonus points if each state capital has an airport...

Plan to go to Vancouver Island in June.
The rest will unfold in time..............

Dover, Delaware doesn't have an airport with commercial service, right?

That's pretty much how it appears to me right now. One trip to Canada planned for later this month, and then lots of ideas and no bookings. Need to get crackin'.

Hence, bonus points! Same with Jefferson City. Frankfort doesn't have an airport anyway. Fiddlesticks.

I'd give him credit just for visiting as many as he can anyway.

I'm in Laos now, about to get on a plane headed to Myanmar/Burma. Four more countries in Europe later this month and then things will slow down a bit. There will be other grand adventures; I just don't have them all booked out yet.

SeaDream. 55 couples, 105 meters long. Much much smaller than Azmara.

We were completely, utterly, spoiled by them over Christmas. We canceled other plans to do more SeaDream cruises. Yes, they are expensive. They are utterly worth it.

Damn that's more of a yacht than a cruise. Out of my price range though, for now at least. Still, that's really awesome that you're doing that.

It's funny you mention that because I, a Sporcle quizmaker, made a game to that effect:

    Can you guess them all?

It really is, which is why we liked it so much. Jet skiing off the stern!

Oh, and we were anchored next to the world's largest yacht (Eclipse) in St. Bart's.

As well as our sister ship.

Got to go into the exclusion zone in Montserrat on Christmas.

I'm using US miles to fly in F from CLT (via PHX). On my return I'm booked in a lie flat seat on UA for my red eye return (via DEN). :)

I'm ambivalent about this kind of thread, too, because of the brag aspect,
and also because some clever person might come and burgle my home.
    Luckily I don't have a home, so here's my Jan-Feb itinerary:
LHR KTM PKR BKK HKG SIN JOG HNL MKK.
The last destination is slightly up in the air and changeable with OGG.
Main purposes are to see Prambanan and Borobudur, sunset over
Phewa Lake, a volcano or two, and friends at SIN Do.

    YZF in March.

    MCI BBQ Do in April.

Hoping to get a beer run to MUC sometime during the year. Anyone
    interested?

My wife and I went to Molokai in 2010 and had a heck of a time. I would advise you to go

I think that would be really cool too. Getting to Sao Tome and Principe, however, might prove a challenge

Only some road trips planned at present, owing to some medical issues impinging on my spouse's ability to tolerate long flights.

    Starting next week: http://goo.gl/maps/4HRKI
    Late June/early July: http://goo.gl/maps/IPvRg

When she can fly (maybe September?) - eastern and southern Africa.

I reckon TP plies the route, though probably not daily.

In order to make this venture more all-inclusive, a visit to Fall River and Framingham should be included, followed immediately by the SATA flight to Punta Delgada.

Maybe even Taiwan, given its former name.

Where ever work decides to send me usually with less than a weeks notice. So far it is Chicago...
