I thought this might be a fun thread.

For me, I would like to see more Asian (OW, SkyTeam) and European (*A) airlines added.

Asia/Australia/New Zealand: QF, NZ, CX, JL, OZ, or KE, maybe even CZ
    Europe: LH, SK

It really comes down to which program would have the best award availability and value - including on partners. Since most (all?) programs have the ability to ticket award for partners, having good value matters more than individual members. it really doesn't matter that CX isn't a partner since I can get an award on them via BA.

My personal choices would be US and AS, but since you can get awards on partners of the programs you transfer into, it wouldn't drastically alter my view of the program.

I'd like to see them add Cathay Pacific - CX is already a partner in the Asia MR program.

I agree that all of the alliances are represented so you can make partner redemptions on almost any major airline in the world, but even if one particular airline may not have the most generous redemption schedule on a global scale, each individual airline usually has one award (regional or mileage-based) the best value for that specific region or route.

I would like to see a major US carrier (besides DL of course). Either get UA or US to replace CO being replaced later this year.

Yep, which is why I'll stop using my MR Premier Rewards card after my August statement. Transfer what I have to CO and get the heck out!

US. combined with the US mastercard, you get 5k deducted from each award redemption.

Since MR will be losing *A CO, I'd assume *A US will come in.

US is the world's biggest mile ho and will sell it's miles cheap to anyone.

Kidding? I'd be so friggin happy if they kept their relationship with CO but I realize that it's CO that doesn't want AMEX.

I thought it was Chase that didn't want AMEX, and that they also put pressure on Southwest to drop out from MR.
