    Westjet airlines is Canada's second major air carrier and low cost airline.

    The purpose of this thread is collection of information and frequently asked questions about Westjet.

    Boeing 737-600 (736)
    Consistent with Westjet's low cost operating model, this airplane has 118 seats in all economy configuration. with seat width of 17.2" and pitch of 32". Entertainment system is the LiveTV seat back TV at each seat featuring 32 channels of Canadian TV, 6 pay per view channels, and Live Map. This aircraft is utilized on domestic short haul routes.     Boeing 737-700 (73W)
    This aircraft is the mainstay of Westjet fleet with 67 examples. Each airplane has 136 economy seats, each with a width of 17.2" and 32" pitch. Entertainment system is the LiveTV seat back TV at each seat featuring 32 channels of Canadian TV, 6 pay per view channels, and Live Map. This aircraft flies throughout the Westjet Network.     Boeing 737-800 (73H or 738)

    Westjet's largest aircraft in the primary fleet (excluding the 752 aircraft chartered for Alberta to Hawaii flights). Each airplane has 166 economy seats, each with width of 17.2' and 34" pitch. Entertainment system is the LiveTV seat back TV at each seat featuring 32 channels of Canadian TV, 6 pay per view channels, and Live Map.     Boeing 757-200 (752)
    This aircraft is chartered by Westjet from North American Airlines to fly YYC-HNL, YYC-OGG and YEG-HNL for a 12 week period in Spring 2011. Flight crew and Flight Attendants for these flights are North American Airlines personnel, however a Westjet Ambassador will be onboard to ensure consistent inflight product. The aircraft will be configured to an all economy 194 seat capacity, Westjet inflight entertainment is not offerred on these flights. For further information please visit the following pages:
