I have searched the SPG Master Thread and was unable to locate anything on this hotel. I will be visiting the North Toronto area for a family function in Jan 2012 and this appears to be the only *wood property in the vicinity. I see that either an Aloft or W will be opening in April, but that won't work! Does anyone have any info on this property?

    Is there an executive lounge?
    Are the rooms decent?
Are upgrades for plats issued regularly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've never been there so I have no idea, but I can say that there is nothing that would lead me to believe that this Westin has an executive level lounge.

Have you tried sending them an email using the email address provided on their web site?

I dont think there is a lounge.

The hotel has been recently renovated and the common areas are very nice. The rooms are old and tired but fine.

It is kind of in the middle of nowhere in terms of access to public transit or anything fun in the city, so you'll want tohave a car.

Thanks, Jeff...my family lives in the middle of no where so I should be fine! No lounge is kind of a killer for this property...May end up at the King Eddy instead and make the drive up to the middle of no where!
