I have a Priceline stay in Mid Jan. I am Hyatt Diamond and Hilton Gold. I am guessing it is too late to get the Amex Platinum which I plan to get later this year which I am not sure is beneficial with a Priceline stay? My status at SPG is the basic Corporate Preferred. Is there anything I can do to enhance my stay and get a free breakfast or any other perks?

In my experience, the Westin Palace is quite strict about free breakfast. Their breakfast is rather expensive (as I recall they offered us a half-price special of about 25 euros per person per day) and I tried very politely but persistently as an SPG Gold to get it comped or a better discount but got nowhere. We ended up buying cereal, milk, dark bread, cheese, salmon, plates, bowls, and utensils at a grocery store about 20 minutes walk from there.

Stayed at this property several months ago on points in a suite as a Gold member. Had to pay for breakfast. Breakfast was very expensive, but good. I doubt that you will get anything extra at this property on a Priceline rate.
