Not sure where to put this, but I noticed this at work today and I wanted to mention it if anyone was interested.

Turkish Airlines TK GY3LOVE WAS to IST

    PERMITTED 08FEB 13 THROUGH 17FEB 13 ON THE OUTBOUND
    TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.

    The Bad News:

    Minimum stay requirements

TRAVEL FROM INBOUND TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR MUST COMMENCE NO
EARLIER THAN 1201AM ON THE FIRST SUN AFTER DEPARTURE OF
    THE OUTBOUND TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.

    ITA is showing it on 2/12 and 2/13 (return 20th / 21st)

My math says this is 3.8CPM and its in G which United claims gets 100%

There are worse places to stay for a week than IST. However the best hotels are quite expensive, but if you are burning points then Park Hyatt Macka Palas, you can definitely do much worse.

Well, on another note, there is another, not as good, sale for IST in the end of August, when I would expect the weather would be nicer. $700 from JFK $800 from BOS

As a heads up, these G fares on TK will no longer earn miles on UA. Hope for another UA match and take UA metal if you're in it for the miles. Otherwise, it's still an unbelieveable price to Istanbul.
