Just curious if anyone else has had an experience like this: I recently booked an award ticket from Washington to Chicago and the CSR said it was a one zone reward. Looking at the map, it definitely looks like a 2 zone award. I'm not complaining! I quickly booked it, and got a confirmation.

I had a similar experience with a room from Ann Arbor to Glenwood Springs a couple years ago - looks like it should be a 2 zone, but was able to book it as a one zone.

Am I just getting really lucky or am I missing something?

Congratulations, I see Chicago as well into the second zone. ;)
    Cardinal or Capitol Limited?

Capitol Limited for my mom. She doesn't do air travel well anymore with a bad back, so is looking at making Amtrak a more regular part of her travels. I think this might be her first overnighter on Amtrak and she'll be in a roomette. Hopefully she enjoys it!
