Warning over toxic fumes in plane cabins
Interesting coroner's report because aerotoxic syndrome has been considered as a invalid medical illness for years.
Which doctor told you that?
That 7-year-old report stated that aerotoxic syndrome "has not yet been officially recognized", which is considerably different than if were "an invalid medical illness". It does appear that the recognition of aerotoxic syndrome is being pushed much harder within the UK. Also see:
And the legal profession is also searching for complainants in order to bring about a class action lawsuit on behalf of those suffering from aerotoxic syndrome:
It boggles the mind to consider how many frequent flyers could be parties to an aerotoxic syndrome lawsuit!
Thanks to @uggboy for posting this article!
I think everyone here on MP would be eligible to participate . I hear that the 787 is the only aircraft with the proper equipment to prevent this syndrome?
Against the manufacturers or the airline companies?
In all fairness... if this is a newly discovered issue and not a cover-up by the airlines, then I think the responsibility lies with the aircraft manufacturer?
But nothing is for sure (for now).
