Will be visiting Paris in December and am torn between the Hyatt Louvre and Marriott Arc de Triumphe. Any thoughts? I have status and points with both.

The hyatt I think has a slightly better location. Less traffic and I preferred that area for walking around when I was in Paris.

Arc de Triomphe is a modern and stylish hotel, whereas Hyatt Louvre is located in the charming heart of Paris.

I would second Hyatt Louvre purely on location. There's so much to see and do and it truly is in the heart of Paris...where my heart belongs every day!! Have fun.

Thank you everyone. I have a reservation at Hyatt but was second guessing myself.

It could be chilly and rainy in December, so location is especially important. I vote for Hyatt Louvre.

I'm going to Paris in early February so I'm in the same boat. I'm expecting cold and wet weather and hopefully less crowds at tourist spots. AT least in December you'll get the Christmas events and extra lights and whatever. Try to post a trip report when you get back.
