Looks like you'll soon be able to send payments from your Visa card to any other Visa cardholder.

    The big questions are:
    • Can you get miles/points from these transfers?
    • What fees will they charge you?
If there are fees involved, I think I'll probably just stick with Amazon Payments.

Good to know the option will be there, though. Maybe this will be easier to transfer funds to family members that don't have Paypal or Amazon Payments.

If you read it carefully, it says you may "receive and send funds to any eligible Visa credit, debit or prepaid account". It does not say you can send money FROM a Visa card. In fact, in the "how it works" section they say: "consumers can send funds directly from their bank account to a recipient's Visa account".

    Bottom line, no miles.
