Telegraph.co.uk: Virgin: the world's best passenger complaint letter?

The Telegraph revisits a quite amusing passenger complaint letter to Richard Branson. It was first published in 2008 and I figured some of you might be amused as well.

    Certainly some unappetizing food!

    :)

I remember when this letter first came out and loved it then
It had a video too that was sensational
Fantastic letter.I love this guys sense of humor
The Virgin Atlantic lawyers had the video removed from cyberspace
My question is what is the food like today?I will be flying Virgin next year in Upper Class
I cancelled my revenue bookings back in 2008 when I read about the onboard experience
It has taken my years to get up the nerve to fly them and I will be bringing my food on board just in case its still the same old slop that they sling..........
    Hopefully improved!

So, a publicity-seeking Brit* orders the Indian vegetarian meal, and then "complains" bitterly that it looks and tastes unfamiliar and unappetising.

Well, he certainly succeeded in getting himself some publicity.

*Of that we can now be sure, because he's just been in the news again with another fabricated complaint.

yes, but his recent complaint was quite 'colorful' as well!;)

I agree -- he certainly likes his '15 minutes of fame'!

Much prefer that over a publicity-seeking American movie director spouting off on Twitter about the unfair treatment he supposedly experienced due to his fat belly while flying in coach on WN. This at least was humorous.

Well regardless of his motives, I don't think I've ever seen a worst presentation for airplane "food" -- using the term liberally. And I've searched around for pictures of Indian vegetarian meals and none of them look anything like this, even in Y. If anything, the SQ and UA ones look down-right appetizing. :)
