    Hi Milepointers,

As it happens, I'm a business travel journo and we had three people on the ground at the Virgin Not Blue launch today, which means that we have pics galore that aren't of relevance for our readership, but that people like us might be interested in.

It's late in my timezone right now, and I'm still downloading them from our online drive, but I wanted to throw open any requests for particular shots to upload here tomorrow. I think we have everything from the cockpit to the lavatories, so request away!

    Cheers,

Per my other thread David Flynn from AusBT has posted a good set of the interiors.
    http://milepoint.com/forums/threads/boeing-737-sky-interior-photos-virgin-australia.10073/

But no cockpit, and only a average lav photo.
Did they have any info on the new IFE system that is yet to be installed?

Did you get any shots in the A330
The IFE screens in the A330 from the walk-through video looked ancient (I assume the seat backs are also from the Emirates config - like the A330 biz seats)

Would be nice to see inside the 330. I assume similar seats and colours to 737 but wide-body config.

    A330 here.

Seats totally different. I suspect both are the old Emirates one recovered.

Righto folks, will do -- just need to get them uploaded on this glacial NZ connection! (Feels like that'll take until June...)

Righto, off we go with the first batch of shots from the 737. We start at the front of the plane (two rows of 2-2 in J):

And the controversial (no curtain to stop the hoi-polloi from invading J?!) yet (in my ever-so-humble opinion) awesome VX-style purple screen dividers

Time for my closeup, Mr De Vider...

So, moving back in the bus, here's the captain showing off her glossy new nametag. Crew versions are in an on-brand purple.

Seats are pretty slimline, though not LCC-style entirely -- regular seatback pockets, no upper literature pocket, not made of uncovered plastic, and so on.

    Even adjustable headrests -- luxury!

Here's one for the safety card fans...

...and a shockingly off-brand menu! Someone call the identity police ;)

I call this the "oh bugger, I dropped my wallet" shot.

Cockpit and exciting lavatory pictures (not really, but they were on the list!) to follow...

And finally: the new figurehead (nosehead? Flying Lady?)... anyone else think she looks like she's bowling a cricket ball? (Hmm, Poms making Ashes jokes -- too soon?)

Right, that's the 738 batch sorted. I should at this point highlight that all these images were taken by my extraordinarily talented colleague @danwarne, who is like a wizard with a camera.

Any more requests? I'll sort out the 332 shortly.
