"Brisbane-based Virgin America recently hired an industry guru to help it shuffle its flights in search of better profits. "

Did they move from Burlingame? The building there still has their name on it.

And if they hired an industry guru recently, who did they use to plan their routes before? Oh wait, never mind, Google helped me find the answer...

After it shifted from SEA to AUS, apparently. Long before I ever heard about the AUS route as the nerd bird did we call the SFO-SEA route on AS the nerd bird.
