  3. Isn't this just like getting naming rights to stadiums. It is all about exposure to CC users and I would assume 95% of airline tickets are paid for by CC. I assume the CC Company pays the airline for points bought and and "naming rights". In some cases the CC company/bank commits to buying a fixed minimum amount of FF miles/points from their host/sponsor.
