If u book now A.A. and base on amex BA 50% bonus transfer- A.A. flights are a true bargainthe 17,500 mile r/t fare will cost less than 12,000 miles when netted down
Today is the last day American Airlines is running their "30 deals in 30 days." While some of the more recent deals have not been too exciting, today's deal is pretty good. For all Economy Class MileSAAver award tickets, save 30% on the amount of miles that need to be redeemed. This is for award tickets booked within the Continental U.S. and Canada. Tickets need to be booked by June 10, 2011 and it is for travel between September 7-November 8, 2011.
It is a short window to redeem and tickets need to be booked relatively far in advance, but if you have any upcoming travel plans, you can probably snag a seat for only 17,500 miles roundtrip (or 8,750 one-way), which is amazing! Great for tickets cross-country or to Canada.
No registration is required and you can book your award ticket here. The number of miles needed for each leg will already be discounted, so you will see quickly which seats have the 30% discount applied.

Sorry, that isn't the way this will work.

Since you're using British Airways miles, your mileage cost is based on the British Airways Executive Club reward chart. And a US domestic roundtrip on American in economy is 25k BA miles, not reduced by the American AAdvantage promotion.
