    Always these vibrating things....;)

Not so long ago our alarm clock in the overhead bin set off an alarm and yes we got some looks, but everything was fine and the flight was not disturbed. We did learn something out of our " own " incident. [ But it wasn't something that vibrated....it was more like...peep, peep, peep... :D ]

Were there dentures in the luggage being cleaned at the time of discovery?

hah, I had an electric razor get turned on in my suitcase some time after I checked my bag once. When I got it off the baggage pickup it was vibrating. Glad it did not shut down the airport. That would have been embarassing. After that I always put it in it's hard case.
