considering transferring some of my chase UR bonus points to Priority club.
mostly so i can use for an Intercontinental reward stay.
i know most peeps see greater value in transfers to Hyatt.
at 30,000-40,000 points /night not sure its really worth it, unless i have other "utilities" or stashed PC also?

You can also transfer to CO miles, right? Probably the best value.

For me the best transfer (or redemption) is the one that meets my needs, no matter what others think of its value.

Are these points from the Chase Sapphire bonus? If so, why not charge the stay to your Sapphire and use the points to "pay yourself back" for the IC stay. That way you earn PC points for the stay, earn UR points for the spend, and aren't out any cash.

IMO this is a low-value use of UR points. If you want a free IC night, get the Chase Priority Club card (free night cert; annual fee waived for 1 year).

I was planning to transfer my points from the Sapphire card to Continental. I just wonder if any new partners would be added once Continental is not an option...

So far as I know, Continental will remain a transfer partner after the merger. I believe it's only Amex MR that's losing them as a transfer partner.
