I have about 190K ANA miles that I was originally going to use for my wife and myself to fly to Japan in Bus/First. However she has now decided that she doesn't really want to go to Japan or Asia but would prefer to go to Europe (London, Germany, Copenhagen) to visit friends. We would only choose one of those and then use the train to get around from there. What's the easiest way to find availability using miles to get there. I am under the impression that if we can find availability on United.com at the saver rate that we can call up ANA to book? Appreciate the help.

Just search on the ANA website and book online?

Also keep in mind that the ANA awards are total distance based and allow multiple stops. I'm a fan of the trains in Europe but if you can get CPH-MUC as part of the same award tier from ANA then I'd take the "free" flight over the train just about every time.
