What level of privacy can be expected from the conversation feature?
Or should all private conversations be done with email outside of mp?

Good question. My hope is this feature is a secure as an email conversation and only those invited are privy to the conversation.

It would be nice to know if moderators ambassadors or anyone else has viewing privileges.

Agreed the intentions in terms of privacy and sharing would be good to spell out clearly.

We wouldn't want to end up like facebook that consistently tinkers with the privacy settings and in a subtle way moves it's users towards sharing all their info.

Good question. Fair question. Fact is that I don't know the answer. There is no interest from myself and current admins (tech staff) to even know. Having said that, at least let me find out what is possible or not. As it is, no one has any privileges related to anything on the inside of this program other than myself and the three tech guys. We haven't even opened it up to staff such as Karen and Michelle who are or will be involved with member/customer service issues. From what I assume, only those you invite into a conversation become aware or have any access to your comments in the conversation.

As a point of reference, when we do get around to and variation of volunteer staff none will ever have any privileges that would exceed your personal privacy rights, other than perhaps an ip address and possible email address but I don't even like your email address exposed to volunteers.

Same rule for owners, shareholders, non-HOM founders, and originating conceptualizers?
