USA : Luxuy Hotels

Discussion in 'Luxury Hotels' started by AdamAlex2, Feb 27, 2014.  |  Print Topic

  1. I heard that Washington D.C is boring even for a culture enthusiast compared to New York, Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans and even Charleston. I am looking for great dining like high end food, exciting museums, cities with a vibrant nightlife.

I am working with an agent and advice on hotels

Why did you feel the need to double post this?

This user (under a variety of names) has been spamming Milepoint for several months with these kinds of questions. They never go anywhere. I think benign neglect is probably the order of the day.

    Thanks.

I thought these questions were repeats. I know I've answered a question very similar to this in the recent past.

These two were repeats, posted about the same time in different fora. But the same question has been appearing for six months or so at different intervals and under different user names -- always very vague requests for comparisons between top-end luxury hotels, or vague requests for comparing different cities or countries. I'm thinking perhaps it's a child with extreme list-making tendencies. I don't think the poster has any real intention of visiting any of the locations or hotels.

  9. I am wondering if Park Hyatt New York or Mandarin Oriental would be better
if Four Seasons Chicago or Peninsular or Park Hyatt for Chicago

I cannot take this, or any other post by this member - or his other screen names - which is sad, as this forum has gone out their way to honestly answer questions.

It's a shame the forums resources have been wasted by someone who does not appreciate the collective knowledge of this forum.

The other post was something about nightlife and museums in the same cities, or did I miss another one entirely?

  13. I do but no one has given me the info I need for this trip as luxury trips are investments and money cannot be wasted we should careful where we spend our money. I want to invest my money to people that need it most and spend it where it matters ie helping the poor. I would rather spend more money at a place that needs it then one that does not. We should be responsible tourists not just luxury ones that do not give a rats about where our money goes. I think most don't. If you want @KENNECTED block me and ban my IP you can of course do that.

Washington might be boring but what about Las Vegas, the place for fun and enjoyment. You will surely love the place and would again and again come here. There are a number of weekly hotels in Las Vegas who have there own casinos and pubs. Affordable places along with Vegas fun you will surely love.
