  1. Please suggest your own cities but I am loving to go to unique cities and cities that have heart and soul. It also has have a wide range of upmarket dining and great unique presentation and a luxury hotel. It also should have a wide range of attractions. Please feel free to choose a different city not on the list. I am also thinking of going to Orlando , a little birdie told me that a Four Seasons is getting built

NYC has a bit of everything

  6. Is Washington D.C boring. I am going to four cities to make it clear excluding Vegas. I am also thinking of going to one national park

    There should be other cities.

Orlando and Atlanta are culture-less cities that are really just big suburbs with lots of urban blight. I don't think DC is a real city either. Its a transient city with awesome monuments, and run-of-the-mill chain restaurants.

IMHO, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Toronto & Miami should be on the list.

What do you want to do in each city? I don't think the Mandarin Oriental in Miami is a good location.

Um, I know its "fun and culture", but Charleston has to be on the list, between history, lovely dining, great beaches within 10 miles, Think New Orleans without the NASCAR element.

Charleston was named Top City in the World in 2012 by `Condé Naste Travelers.
With accolades such as “best-mannered city” in the U.S. and “America’s most friendly city,” and also in 2011 – `Condé Naste Travelers “Top City in the United States and Fodor’s “21 Places to go in 2012”- it’s not a surprise that Charleston is one of the most visited city in the US.

If you truly want museums you should be in DC. Washington DC = free museums all of the Smithsonian’s are free as well as the national zoo. i.e. 18 museums listed at all http://www.si.edu/Museums

Kind of difficult to vote for USA or Canadian cities in the poll when there are no Cdn cities (throw in YUL and YYZ, YVR for those who like the urban-outdoor juxtaposition)!

From the list, I would put NY and DC at the top. SF would also be in the running but it is also not on the list.

Two others would be Philly and Austin.

Well, some people find Washington to be rather conformist and uptight. That does not mean borig to everyone, however. Washington has all of the trappings of the national government, significant historical sights, excellent (and free) museums. But the most severe comment would likely be that it is a bit sterile and faceless in the eyes of an outsider.

Of the cities on your list, I can see no reason to include Atlanta in your travels. As for Orlando, it does Disney, Sea World and like theme parks better than all others, but outside of that, there is no reason to go.
