Seriously, what's the deal with that? I'm always checking the US Airways site because there's always some issue where I'm losing my seat assignments. Sure enough, I check my flight on Thursday where I have 2A / 2D / 2C on the PHL-CLT segment and I see that I've somehow "lost" 2D. I call US and they tell me there's nothing they can do, nor can they explain what happened -- "schedule change" they say, like that somehow justifies losing only one seat across the aisle on the same PNR. Better yet, at the end of the call the CSR says "sorry I can't give you a seat that doesn't exist" -- complete with a heavy dose of attitude. I did reply back with a snark "you mean to say sorry you gave away my seat and can't explain why" but I figured I'd leave it at that. Does anybody see this happen with US flights or is this just me and my 3 seat PNRs?
