Wonder what they're going to do with CLT-LGW.
My guess is they will phase out LGW if they are beginning LHR.
My understanding is that both CLT-LGW and CLT-LHR will be operating, at least for now. Not sure if there is enough traffic to support both in the long run, however.
Where's the aircraft for CLT-LHR coming from if they're going to continue CLT-LGW? New deliveries?
My question isn't the traffic, it's the aircraft...what route are they going to stop flying to be able to run this? Maybe it'll work until the winter schedule ends, but I don't think they have a spare widebody lying around for this during the summer...
I think deliveries of the 330-200's resume in Q4 of next year, so it seems like there'd be a bit of a gap here...
Quick update here--doing some dummy bookings, it appears as though CLT-LGW ends on March 29th, and CLT-LHR begins the next day on the 30th.
