US businessman snaps up Dublin Hilton hotel for €30m
Is he going to live there by himself?
Loans transfered to Nama?
Who is Nama? Mc Nama ra?
I don't think so.
Nama is the "bad" bank which the Irish government set up and holds / sells assets which were taken from owners / property developers who had faced difficulties in paying off their debts during the banking crisis in Ireland and in Europe. All loans who had been outstanding from the Hilton / developers / former owners had been transferred to Nama and now Nama has sold off the Hilton to John Malone who subsequently paid off the outstanding loans.
Thought Irish loans were measured in pints of Guinness?
BTW- what does beer cost in Ireland for Harp/Guinness/Murphy's and a Jamison?
I'll be making a German expedition soon and the Euro prices are about 3.25e/pUnt in Deutschland hahaha.
Drown your sorrows...here is a link to eternity!
