US Airways or TSA or both loses dead man's ashes

    Long story short...

    TSA refuses to allow a widow to take her husband's ashes through the checkpoint.
    She places the ashes in a checked bag and marks it fragile.
    Bag arrives at destination without ashes.
    Family understandably distraught, contacts US Airways
    Almost three months later, the ashes have not been found.

    Forget TSA or US Airways as individual arbiters of how best to F up one's travel plans, this story demonstrates how effective they can be when they work on it together.
