I was approved for this card on January 22nd. It arrived at my home and was activated on January 30. I spent $ 5 online to pay part of a utility bill. On February 11 I received an email that the a statement was ready. I went to my online account and looked at the statement. 40005 miles are now in my US Air account. I have never received miles so quickly.

Since this seems to be a churnable card I may take a stab at another one next quarter.

There are several versions of this card, Platinum, World Elite and then there are Business Cards. There are plenty of options.

    Which version did you receive?

On your net churn you may get a lower version of the card.

I have the premier version and just applied for the lower one. Hope to keep them all for the companion certificates. Makes flying me and the Mrs. around the US on US much cheaper!

I also signed up for the US Airways Mastercard last weekend and was approved immediately. LIke the signup bonus and the reduced miles for awards. I don't care for flying US airways domestically but I look forward to earning enough points to redeem international business awards. Have 70K already from two years of grand slam participation. the credit card will help me with some "hits" in the future as well.

I just made the the first purchase on my second one of these cards yesterday (first one still open, opened in October). I will let you know how the churn turns out, but hoping to see another 40k miles soon.

My esposa also applied for this card. She received notification about approval on February 2d. The card arrived and was used on February 4th. The 40000 miles posted on February 17th.

My 40,000 bonus miles posted for the second US Air card today. I did not close the first account and opened a second one to test the churnability. I believe application dates were 10/23/11 for the first card and 2/3/12 for the second, so the 90 day rule looks like it still works. Looking forward to applying for another one for both my wife and myself on our next app day.

Yes. I did have to call the reconsideration line, but after explaining that I wanted to keep expenses separate for my son, they approved the second card.
