US Airways made a mistake and I have to pay for fee

    Did they read the reservation details back to you at the end of the call?

    I am not very familiar with US' systems, but did it take three days for the reservation to appear in their web system, or did it take three days for the reservation to ticket?

    You could suggest that they can listen to the recording of the conversation since you are 100% sure that you asked for different dates than you got. Not sure if they'll do that.

    I thought you didn't have to pay a fee if you called on the phone to book a partner award?

    Regardless, I've called them numerous times to figure out why my seat assignments keep disappearing on award tickets (on US metal) and they always read me the itinerary information before we start and after we end, so it would help if the call was indeed recorded, as they would have the agent mentioning the correct dates but booking the incorrect ones.
