Goobye Punki. We'll miss you and, vicariously, Hunki too. We will keep the planet humming with lots of 'likes', award travel, points and miles. So long, and thanks for all the fish.

It's a good thing I don't look or act old. Still too many things to do. :D

Then again I'm in the demographic well for MP. Or at least I was back in the Beta period.

Luckily for me I don't qualify on the "good looking" count.

You do know the aliens mark up their caviar well over 50%?
You may want to try and hide all that sex appeal until they leave. :D

Make sure you register your mileage card upon boarding that spaceship. You'll lose a ton of miles otherwise and it's not sure how they handle retro-credits at Mars Spaceways...! Have a good trip! :)

I'm safe on two out of three counts. Have a great trip, send us some tweets, and start an Antares photo sharing thread...

I just called service at Mars Spaceways (Really good that I could find their 000800-number, otherwise it would have been a very costly call) and they tell that depending on the position of Mars and Earth at the time of flight they would credit you between 35 million and 250.6 million miles for a oneway which if travelling in one of their first class villas onboard you get an additional 300% class of service bonus on top.
Using those miles I would advise that their once a month hops from Earth to Moon in Biz are a very good option at 4.8 million miles in business class oneway. However I don't know the rates at the back-of-the-moon starwood hotels and if they accept bookings on points currently.

And, just looking into their merchandise for miles catalogue, with 250 million miles you could order not just a flatscreen tv, not only a full equipped home cinema, but a real cinema, complete with 300 seats, a bistro area and parking space for 200 cars. However I'm not sure if they deliver to Earth and what the shipping charge would be for that.

Thanks for the research, ralfkrippner. Always good to know my options.

Oh, Yeah! I always love company.

Speaking of company, where's Cholula? I was certain they would take him as well. ;)

This seems to be one of those exceedingly rare situations in which Punki may not have properly prepared herself.

There will be no talking trash about my boyfriend, Cholula. If I think he is good looking and sexy, then he is good looking and sexy. :D

Well, it's already tomorrow in Australia and much of Asia. I just got a tweet that they touched down, looked around, and quickly had a change of heart.
They probably have enough problems without us good looking, sexy "old" folks.
Either that or my bribe wasn't enough (I'm terrible at extraterrestrial currency exchanges - how many Malachandrian Wafotrons am I supposed to get per dollar???)

As an international banker i should clarify that Malachandrian Wafotrons (WFA) cannot be exchanged into any terrestrial currency because latter no longer exist because their home planet was destroyed to make way for an interstellar bypass Remember?:D

Punki can tell you more about that if she ever returns.

Darn it, it must have been a Metalunan, whose currency isn't even listed in the Hitchhiker's Guide. Oh well, since I'm not sexy, nor good -looking, nor "old" I'll have to wait for some other miraculous occurrence to have a chance at being picked up.

I think the exchange system got confused; it thought WFA was the White Font Army.

It is, it is. The WFA is the official currency of the WFA. That is why our payroll deposits never arrive.;)
