Lacsa/Taca/Avianca award inventory is available on the preview site now. It should go on the public site at the end of the week.

Yup...I'm seeing it now, too. I guess the Preview needed a preview.

I also think that the UI works well in the site layout.

It does appear that with this change, the duplicate segments that are waitlisted on the reservation screen are now gone.

For a M-Up (PN) text says "Your Complimentary Premier Upgrade has been confirmed."

I'd guess the language should be different since its not really a PCU but a fare class instant up.

I'm a big fan of that change.
It is still a complimentary upgrade based on Premier status.

Also showing on a award ticket. YN eligible for upgrade --- which is nice because we can see there's logic for award tickets to be upgraded (by being premier and holding UA credit card)

Also on same itinerary showing that a Saver Global First award (ON) as a upgrade, which it is not, it is a booked ON award.

And I have one that doesn't say anything under it. I guess there are still a few bugs in the system...

Overall, this is a nice change and a lot more clear than having duplicate segments.

I like the fact that we dont see duplicated segments for the waitlist (e.g, GPU/RPU)

I have one trip with two non-premier members (on same PNR). In that I do not see anything about upgrade request for my name (US domestic trip)...i guess that will happen only if I split the PNRs.

Seeing that, too, on one of mine. They've had issues with those dual-use codes for years. Looks like they still do.

With two other non-elites on the reservation it is not going to be processed for CPUs so that is accurate.

I'd split two together (him + 1) and hope those two both clear. Then he can sit in the back and the two of them can enjoy the upgrade. ;)

    Nice new interfact additions.

    However, this wording....
"After checking in, view your status on the upgrade standby list at united.com/flightstatus. If you do not see your name on the list, please see a United representative at the airport."
This feels like they almost missed the point which is to indicate if you're actually waitlisted rather than theoretically eligible.

There are two parts of eligibility. One is for the CPU process and one is for the gate/battlefield process. The list you see on the website only applies to the latter. Seeing the flag on a reservation regularly says you are eligible for the CPU process anyways.
