It's ridiculous how excited I am about flying in F in three weeks time. I'm 51 years old and it's the same feeling I had as an eight year old as Christmas approached.

I know it's just a 15.5 hour flight and just an airplane seat, but who knows when I'll get this opportunity again (except for my return five days later MEL-LAX!!!), so I'm thrilled to be partaking in such an experience -- and for 72.5 AA miles each way!

Enjoy, QF A380 F is one of my favorite rides out there. I'm working on booking more of it for myself as well :).

QF 380 F really is a nice experience.

As a QF F pax, you can pre-reserve a massage in the MEL F lounge. If interested, call 13 13 13 whilst in Australia a few days before departure and asked to be put through to the lounge where they can confirm your details.

QF also offers kerb-to-lounge escort service. The lounge can arrange that for you too if keen. This is analogous to AA Five Star service...while clearly not a necessity, it is nice to have someone look after you.

I leave Lax-Syd on July 23 - do you know how I arrange curb-to-lounge service?

Yes hit the F lounge in MEL for spa/massage treatments before departure as noted above. And come with an empty stomach to eat in the great lounge restaraunt and drink some of the great wine and champagne they have available. I had a 7 hr layover and didn't leave.

Alas, I'm on the 9a MEL - LAX return (in F again) so I'll only be able to enjoy spa for 90 min or so

what I am bummed about, however, is that there is no arrivals lounge at SYD for a 6:20a arrival. F pax should get something - instead, I will can it to the Park Hyatt and hang out in their lobby til a room is available
