Hey guys. I could really use some help with this situation I'm in with United. I recently took a trip to South America that ended up being 75000 miles with United Mileage Plus. During the trip I had to change my departure city going back to the states. The website was unable to book for me so I had to call in to speak with an agent. After about 90 minutes on the phone due to the fact that he had some technical issues and needed a support guy to help him we finally booked the ticket. Now since the new itinerary was 60000 trip I paid the $75 fee and was promised a 15000 refund. Now after looking at my account activity it seems that there was some movement on my account with regard to my points and they took 80000 for the trip. So not only did they not return my 15000 points they also took another 5000. I tried giving their help line a call and we had the worst connection ever and they were unable to help. DId someone manually do this??? Any idea what I can do? I'm at a loss ideas!
