    United is the Worst Airline. Period.

    NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Do you know how it feels to have spent hundreds of dollars to stand in line for half a day not knowing whether or not all of that time spent with aching feet and a weary head will actually result in getting on a plane?

    This correspondent spent 7 hours at LAX trying to rebook her UA flight after it's cancellation due to weather. Read the entire article here:

    If only she booked her ticket using a credit card with flight delay/cancellation insurance...

    She'd be writing that article (or maybe blog post?) from the comfort of a hotel room.

    Then..you know. Call the Platinum travel line (if she has platinum) and get them to book you on the next flight out. (That hopefully won't be cancelled due to weather problems)

    It's about traveling smart.

    A must-play/hear! The caller listened to "Rhapsody in Blue" on the Premier line for endless hours, but couldn't even get through the UA regular phone line. A 12-hour phone wait-time to speak to someone at United. It gives a whole new warm and fuzzy meaning to the term "customer service"! :eek: How do spell "Amtrak"? :rolleyes:
