Watch this hilarious well done video when United Airline breaks a customer's guitar in transit and refuses compensation!!!!

United later contacted this customer asking agreeing to pay some damages but the customer refused due to United's hostile attitude.

Oh yes, the United Guitar video that was seen around the world and made the singer a star for the little guys back in July 2009. You are right, well after the video was released and created the buzz that it did, is when United decided to take responsibility for the incident and tried to compensate for the loss. By Singer-songwriter Dave Carroll decided not to take the offered amount in direct response to United's lack of customer service care related to his complaint for the broken guitar. The rest is history, thanks for the posting, I enjoyed watching it again. :)

Wow, I remember when that first hit the "Net". You couldn't look at an on-line newspaper, or various other sites, without having a link available to it. Just goes to show you, you can't blame every thing on the "New" United.

It was an excellent lesson for corporations, that times have changed and calculus has changed. They used to saving a few dollars by being hard nosed about customer service, but now it can come back and bite them hard... They are being forced to change their policies and be much more pro-consumer. This video has over12 million views, you can't buy advertising like that :)
